INNER Stress Management
Introduction, restoring our emotional energy is the 2nd stage of INNER Stress Management. Here we bring a caring intention to
our emotions so that they can naturally restored.

STUDY
There are 2 parts to this practice.
* 1- The physical opening of the upper chest informs the nervous system the threat has past. This allows the nervous system to
come back into balance.
* 2- The skillful intention to retrieve a pleasant memory of appreciation informs the brain there is safety. This allow the brain to
release the 3 "happy" hormones and restore our emotional energy.

PRACTICE
The Practice of "Opening & Smiling"

APPLY
When the are feeling of anger, sadness, fear in the mind. We can physically open up the chest area and take a deeper breath.
Then we can think about one thing that we appreciated. It may be as simple as "just glade to be alive"
